Historically this stock is keeping levels very tight. But if it breaks it — it goes!

mon1001On Jan 10th MON opened at $100.00 (all-time high + nice round level) and the sell-off began. After it broke $99.50 I put some limit orders to sell @ $99.50 with stops @ $99.57. It filled my limits and down it went. The same tactics was used @ $99.00. First time the stops were taken off, but the second entry was great again.

I closed it around $99.80 with a stop that I was trailing down all the time.

Watch for historical stock habits, sometimes it pays!

The reason was massive buying and break of premarket resistance @40.00. Long from 40.05 (stop 39.96). Closed half @41.50, another half @42.00. Read more »
